Delridge & Portland Bridges

Skating Delridge with Mo & Phil Tedder, this pool coping was supplied by Phil & he gave it a good test. So did Liz.

Billy a young man who is sometimes thought to be related to Gin was also there doing 5050s where it's hard to get a truck near the coping.

Morris FS airs x 2

Then to Gins DC storage facility (note socks) & down to Portland.

Jefferson Seattle with Mo & Gin.

There is a park being "opened" on Saturday - it has been there since Jan & is as smooth as you will ever need concrete to be.
The views over the city are amazing.
The big bowl is very deep in the corner & Morris makes it look easy.
Gin had to take thing easy as she has Black Belt exam in 8 days.
Therefore she spent the time mainly snacking.
At the Spitz concert she chopped me in the neck (which hurt).

Already told you about the heavy duty snacking...

Gin did actually skate a bit.

Super sunset with a really nice guy. Thanks Morris.

Yeah & Gin found it really funny to take pics of me doing my photos & then to make fun of me,
Sadly I do look like a moron & these photos do make me laugh at myself. Enjoy.

Spits Concert was very good. The German Landbier (like English Ale - yuk) which Mo made me drink was not.
Thank goodness for Stella.
The Dodge Caravan has a cool reversing camera which we had to take this Mustang's photo in as we let the concert.

Woodland.

Day 1.
Get there, it rains ("Brought the weather with you". First time ever I have found this funny, thanks Gin.) then it dries up & I skate solo.
Now waiting in cafe for Morris & Gin to finish work.

Coffee & WiFi junkie.

Archie McPhee, tat purchased, fart cushion, skulls bracelet etc.

Traffic lights for $150?

Fixie central

Dried out lovely.
New setup taking a bit of getting used to.

Seattle bound.

Well if you try to check in with BA & you get the message that it has not been possible to book a seat, it probably means that they have overbooked & you don't have a seat.
That's what happened to me anyhow. After a long bus trip this is really a bad situation.
So you get given a £3 coffee voucher & the offer of €600 on a voucher card (which can only be used for BA flights) if you accept that you are not getting on the plane...
I didn't & waited by the customer services desk, finally at the very last minute I got the seat & had to rush through security. Made it.

Cornish weekend

Weekend in Cornwall with Zorlac, Matt Bain & Rodga Harvey.

Apparently, according to the sign, this is the best beach in Europe.
I'm not arguing with that. Makes this the best car-park view in Europe.

Zorlac having a nice time, this is probably the earliest skate he has had this year.
Wasn't even 3pm.

The legend, that is, Rodga Harvey was in town & we had a great time. Some of Rodga's pics are on FB.

If you have been to St Ives you might find this picture as amusing as I do. Never thought I would be standing here with these guys..

Thanks Hayle; you sweep up & it bites you. Reminded me of ROM with the "oh that's OK I'm wearing pads - oh no it just pushed the pad out of the way & gnoshed my knee" sort of thing.

Then Nick turns up for breakfast. When he called Matt to ask if he was coming to skate at around 10.30 am (yes I know..) Bain Peters says, "oi what are you doing with my mates phone"?!!

The 2J is a mighty lump, doesn't slide across the road quite as well as a Skyline though.

Skating Camborne was so cool, I've done it a good many times now, but this was the best session by far.

Then onto Portreath for a pool comp. They are all dreadful at pool, my skills were sufficient to keep me from having to find a single 50p to put in the table as I thrashed them all twice each. Just sayin'.

Rodga is probably the world's best at guessing the time. 20 to 4 & it was - to the minute..

Portreath is a lovely little cove, the views are to die for.
