Mostly working since August.

Fenland clouds

QE2 bridge still impresses me.

Enjoying the surefootedness, more snow forecast for tomorrow...

Some modern building has gone on in Peterborough, the metal wave is on a bit of a slope.
Gives ideas for a new skatable object?

Spent New Year on a bus trip to the Alps. Was a good decision, the snow is the best at this time of year for 50 years.

The bus goes on the EuroTunnel, always a tight squeeze.

Steep stuff at the top of Courchevel still had some powder.

Mostly Skis.

New Year at Meribel was enjoyable.
My last minute room was a bargain, 3 beds & a balcony for relaxing before removing boots..

OK so I have been very bad & not really skated enough of late.
The new park at Brentwood was on my list for months now, last time I went, I forgot kids were off.
Anyhow, this time I got to skate & I like it.

Another visit to Dunmow, now rechristened Dibside.

I humbly request that the gabions be left alone. If the stone is robbed from these cages we will have trouble from the Highways Department

Obviously a few Saffy visits.

Scooters are multiplying.
No Scooters in the bowl, thankfully.

Bent shadows.

Portland

So, on returning to Portland, there were plenty of parks to skate.
I wish you could stretch time some how, it does feel like the days were extra long & that so much happened that it must have been more than 20 days.
It got to a point where I had forgotten where I had been.
Battleground in particular I kept forgetting if I had ever been there (Old-timers disease I think).
I will let the pictures do the talking here as I really want to get up to date & let everyone see the amazing stuff going on in Essex.

Scanlan day out at Newberg

1st drop in - Donald July 2012

Donald, another scorcher.

Hudson in the 2012 Unifecta Bowl.

Hood River, the big bowl is still scary.

Dogs drying.

Best obstacle at Windells, grinds for miles.

This is Noot he does wall rides & climbs / jumps up trees.

Brooklyn St needs support, the flat-bottom & rest of the extension requires donations.

This old boy is probably the best swimmer there ever was.

Humming Birds, who knew?

Cheerio Seattle

Cachaqua

Yep, the town, the skatepark.

Well when you say town, there is a store / cafe & a trailer park.
Much else, not really.
Well apart from the world class skate bowl on the Eggleston plot.

Cherry has seen it all before.

The setting, everything, it is beyond what you imagined.

Zarosh has an old Volvo 444, it is rad, some rats love to make houses under the bonnet & in the footwells, we cleared their nests out & moved the beast to a better position, this is the first time in a few years that the wheels have turned, maybe next time we can bump start it on the drive & ride it into town?

Then the sun goes down.

Thanks Zarosh & your dad.
