Silver End
Found this today, well worth a trip.
Broadway, behind the shops in Silver End.
Bendcrete built, best by them so far.

I love these steps, as you can see the tranny is over 8 feet, makes me feel as if i can actually skate.
ha.
Then the rain came.
Euro Tour last bit.
Munster or Muenster as it is correctly spelled without the umlaut.
Famous since the 80s (don't think it was built in 70s)
The bowl is huge & was totally scary when it stood alone next to the snake run.
The Minus boys have made the park into what must be one of the all time best.
I just love the way you can carve around & the transitions on the walls are perfect.
The old snake run is holding up super well & is a joy to skate.

A tree holding special significance to me. Trainers & Paderborner...
Then onto Mechelen, arriving in the afternoon with around 25 degree C it was too hot to skate, following a mix up (my inablilty to read text messages in English) I missed my friend at Mechelen Skate Park that evening, instead I made a walking tour of Mechelen, an historic religious capital of Belgium. More churches than you can shake a stick at, a city preserved in aspic. Typical huge cathederal square a'la Bruges.
I love the detail in the bike & moped, everyone is completely familiar with the design of these vehicles here.
Some ledges for the hoppers.
some of the architecture is inspiring in a building of skateparks sort of way, these tranny joins look good to me.
Then on to Mechelen park at first light.
New coffin door way.
Pool cope, waiting.
mmm, waves.
Then home.
Back to work.
